Coming to Closure

At some point it is necessary to come to closure on model development.
In our case we need to consider the possibilities of transformations on variables and to consider the possible necessity of interaction terms.

Final Model after considering transformations.

Considering Interactions

Introduction.

A simple example, diabetes and gender.

Examining age and male interactions.

Variable selection with interaction terms.

Final model with interaction terms.

A different approach is to consider all interactions.

Homework
Come to closure with the lipid2018_b data set -- submit a final model based on this data.

NOTE:
The submission for this homework should be a text document (word, rtf, plain text, etc.). It should in the form of a report and include the programs you used. In this report explain the methods used for coming to closure and what decisions you made.
